Sow fall beets 8 to 10 weeks before your first hard frost. Typical timing is August in colder zones and September in zones 7 to 8. Count backward from your date. Use My Garden frost settings or a zone fall calendar such as zone 6 fall, zone 7 fall, or zone 8 fall.
